Embracing Every Piece:
From Brokeness to Wholeness
Hi, I’m Chassitie—a mom of two amazing kids and a proud fur mom to my four-legged baby. Life has been anything but a straight path. It’s been full of ups and downs, moments of joy, and seasons of pain. But through it all, I’ve discovered something truly powerful: the ability to find peace, even when everything feels broken.
My journey took a sharp turn when my marriage fell apart. I was left standing in the rubble of what I thought my life would be, with a heart that felt shattered. It was during those dark moments that I stumbled upon something unexpected—the kind of peace that doesn’t make sense, the kind that can only come from God.
As I started to pick up the pieces, I realized something important: the hurt I was feeling wasn’t just about what had recently happened. It went much deeper, back to wounds I’d carried with me from childhood. I was that little girl, still holding onto pain that had shaped who I thought I was. I became someone defined by hurt instead of by the truth of who God created me to be.
But then came the turning point. I did the one thing that changed everything: I accepted Jesus into my heart and made God my personal Savior. From that moment on, He became my rock—my father, healer, friend, and provider. God took the broken pieces of my life and started to create something new and beautiful, showing up in ways that I couldn’t have imagined.
I’ve learned that peace isn’t about having a life free from pain. It’s about feeling God’s presence right in the middle of it. It’s about accepting that we’re all a little broken, seeking healing, and trusting God to work through every part of our lives. That’s what led me to create Peaces & Pieces—a space where I can share my real, sometimes messy, journey and hopefully offer some encouragement along the way.
This blog is my way of being honest about my struggles, my faith, and the hope I’ve found. If you’re dealing with your own broken pieces or just looking for a little more peace in your life, I’m glad you’re here. Let’s walk this road together, knowing that no matter how broken we feel, God is always there, ready to create something beautiful out of the pieces.
